The staff of the kiddieGRAND is passionate about your child’s happiness and growth and safety. They’re dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem.

Karen Burwell, Administrator

Karen graduated from Rhodes State College with an Associates in Early Childhood Development and Concordia University with a BA in After School Care.  She is married to her husband Steven and has three grown children Kristin, Stephanie and Will.  Karen also has four half grown grandchildren Madison, Lucas, Isaac, Brian, and a new new granddaughter named Samantha.

Over the past thirty years, Karen has owned a Preschool, a child care center, worked in Early Intervention, as well as worked for the State of Ohio in Early Childhood.  She taught Migrant Head Start, was the administrator for an Intergenerational Child Care at Green Hills Community for five years, and has worked as a consultant for Step Up to Quality.



Ashley Ferell
Ashley is a graduate of Northmor High School in Galion, Ohio.  She graduated with 4 certifications in Adobe products.  She has 3 nieces and 2 nephews who mean the world to her.

Ashley has helped rehabilitate several animals with her family in Mount Gilead, Ohio when she as younger, and currently has two dogs and two horses.  She enjoys horseback riding, hiking, reading and fishing, and is currently expecting a baby boy.


Encarnacion Maciejowski
Encarnacion has a background in cosmetology holding both a State of Ohio Managing Cosmetologist and Instructor license. She is currently pursuing her Health and Life Insurance license.

Working with the infants, Encarnacion brings energy and enthusiasm to the daycare.

Encarnacion is married with three children and one grand-daughter.


Olivia Davis
Olivia will graduate with her business degree next year and has been working in childcare for four years. She recently moved to Dublin from Youngstown with her husband and four year old son.

In her spare time, Olivia enjoys family activities, reading, DIY and traveling.
