The staff of the kiddieGRAND is passionate about your child’s happiness and growth and safety. They’re dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem.

Karen Burwell, Administrator

Karen graduated from Rhodes State College with an Associates in Early Childhood Development and Concordia University with a BA in After School Care.  She is married to her husband Steven and has three grown children Kristin, Stephanie and Will.  Karen also has four half grown grandchildren Madison, Lucas, Isaac, Brian, and a new new granddaughter named Samantha.

Over the past thirty years, Karen has owned a Preschool, a child care center, worked in Early Intervention, as well as worked for the State of Ohio in Early Childhood.  She taught Migrant Head Start, was the administrator for an Intergenerational Child Care at Green Hills Community for five years, and has worked as a consultant for Step Up to Quality.



Encarnacion Maciejowski
Encarnacion has a background in cosmetology holding both a State of Ohio Managing Cosmetologist and Instructor license. She is currently pursuing her Health and Life Insurance license.

Working with the infants, Encarnacion brings energy and enthusiasm to the daycare. Encarnacion is married with three children and one grand-daughter.


Olivia Davis
Olivia and her family recently relocated from Youngstown, Oh to the Dublin area. Her husband is a new nurse and took a job in the Columbus area. They have a 4 year old son, Freeman Jr. Olivia has been working in childcare for 4 years now and truly loves it. She enjoys family activities, reading, DIY and traveling. Olivia graduates with her business degree next year and is looking forward to her future here at the kiddieGRAND.


Harmonee Green
Harmonee graduated from Grove City High School and is enrolled in college majoring in Child Development and Hospitality.  In her spare time Harmonee enjoys throwing parties and events for all ages.  She loves to work with animals and loves to travel across the world.  Being able to work with children is so joyful.


Katie Antonchak
Katie Antonchak lives in Powell with her husband and three kids. She grew up in Coshocton, Ohio. She has a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Dayton and a Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University.

Katie enjoys traveling, community service projects, movies, musicals and spending time with her family.

Working in the intergenerational program is a new and exciting chapter in her career.


Lilly Soto
Lilly graduated from Dublin Scioto High School in 2017. She is currently continuing her education at Columbus State Community College and pursuing a degree in psychology and education. She recently moved back to Columbus after spending a year at the University of South Alabama. She has a big family and loves working with children. In her free time she likes to cook and hangout with her family and pets.


Dixie Sanchez
Dixie recently moved from Texas to Ohio. She has been working with children for 10 years and finds it’s very rewarding to see them grow. Dixie especially loves hearing them say their first words and to be there helping them achieve all of their goals. Dixie enjoys knowing that she has part in the lives of our future generation.
